Obituary

Mrs. Levi Nelson

Mrs. Levi Nelson died at her home in the town of Hampden. at 9 o'clock p.m. on Monday February 22, 1909.
Hannah Munger, daughter of Riley Nelson and Elvira Munger was born at Attica, N.Y. March 6, 1833. On October 6, 1855, she was married to Levi Nelson the young couple immediately coming west to the home which the groom had prepared at Otsego, Columbia Co., Wis. Here they lived until 1866 when they bought and moved towhat is known as the Topliff farm in the town of Hampden where she has since resided.
Five children were given to her, of whom two, George and Elvira with the father preceded her in death. Mrs. H. L. Trapp, Mrs. Robert Bell and Frank all of Hampden are left to mourn the loss of a good and loving mother.
The funeral services were held at the house with internment at the Otsego Cemetery, Rev. Hopkin officiating.
