Miss Ellen Benner died last Friday after a short but severe attact [sic] of spinal meningitis. Funeral services were held in the Christian church, conducted by Rev. Rhoades. After funeral services the remains were taken to the Bee Ridge cemetery.

FROM KNOX CITY.
Miss Ellen Benner, who has been a resident of Knox City for some time being engaged in the millinery trade died Friday morning at 11:20 a.m. of typhoid fever and other complaints common to nature. She was a widow age about 35 years. Her remains were buried Saturday morning in the Bee Ridge cemetery. She leaves a host of friends to mourn her loss. What is her gain to our loss.—J. N. K.
