Graveside services for Mrs. Verne George Cason, 76, of Marshall, who died Saturday at a nursing home there, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Garden of Memories Cemetery with the Rev. Gene Thompson officiating.

Born July 12, 1912, in Wyatt, La., she was a retired beautician. A longtime resident of Kerrville, she had lived in Marshall since December, 1988, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church there.

Survivors include a daughter, Suzanne West of Marshall; a grandson Keitha A. West; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Kerrville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
