Mrs. W. F. Stovall, Sr., of Marshall, Texas, died at her home Saturday, June 23, at the age of 76 years. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Marshall Methodist Church of which she was a member, with the Rev. Dubberly of Marshall and the Rev. G. A. Morgan, pastor of the Cedar Grove Methodist Church, in charge. Burial was in the Transport Cemetery, Winn Parish, with the Rev. Taylor, Methodist pastor of Hodge, officiating.

Acting as pallbearers were the deceased's nephews, Gene Raymond, T. L. Walker, Johnny and Roland Pullen, Luther and Dr. Henry Stovall.

Mrs. Stovall, before her marriage in 1888 to William F. Stovall, was Miss Emerett Chambless. She was the last of the older Stovall family, her husband having preceded her in death 21 years. She and her youngest son, Rupert, made their home together until he was called into service of his country.

She leaves three daughters and three sons, Mrs. Ola Wyatt of Wyatt; Mrs. Fannie Brock Taylor of Shreveport, and Mrs. Vern George, Marshall, Texas; Angus Stovall of Kermitt, Texas; Fred Stovall of Oak Grove, and SF 2/c Rupert Stovall of Camp Sa[illegible], Calif.; two sisters and three brothers; four half brothers and 17 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
