East Peoria, IL - Harold Gaines Conner, 56, of 100 Twin Oaks Court died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1992, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

Born May 4, 1936, in Russellville, Ala., to Ernest and Irene Pounders Conner, he married Joyce Lahne on March 25, 1986, in Eureka. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother of East Peoria; one daughter, Mrs. Rick (Denise) Nix of Cullman, Ala.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Dave (Tina) Loree of Dallas, Texas, and Terri McLaughlin of Morton; three grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Brenda Holler and Mrs. Terry (Phyllis) Seals, both of East Peoria.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister.

A cement finisher, he was owner of Conner's Concrete Elevation for the past six years.

Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
