Members of his family found Mr. Baswell dead in bed early Thursday morning and it is thought he suffered a heart attack.
He had been in perfect health and had done a hard day's work on the farm on the day before, and had made no complaint.
Surviving him are three daughters and five sons, besides a host of relatives and others who will miss him.
