'Arthur McCue Gendron, 80, of 209 Westwood Pk, Norwich, died Monday (31 Aug 1987) at William W Backus Hosp, Norwich.
He was born 1 March 1907 in Springfield, Ma, son of the late Henry and Catherine (McCue) Gendron.
Mr. Gendron was married to the former Doris A. Atkinson on Nov. 2, 1929 in Springfield, Mass. She survives him.
He was a retired drill press operator for Westinghouse.
He was a communicant of St. Michaels Church, Springfield, Mass and Sts Peter and Paul Church, Norwich.
Besides his wife, survivors include one son, Arthur M. Gendron Jr of Norwich; one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Manegre of Kenosha, Wis.; one sister, Catherine Gendron of Springfield, Mass.; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich is in charge of arrangements.'
