Patsy Tafoya, St. Johns, 80, died at Rim Country Health in Payson Sept. 5, 2005.
Patsy was born in McNary, Aug. 25, 1925. She lived her entire life in Arizona. Patsy retired in 1996. She had worked as a cook in restaurants for many years, serving up wonderful entries for her favorite customers and for her family. Patsy had a big and loving heart and always had something good to say about everyone. She never found fault but was a good example of what the heavenly Father expects from His children.
Her survivors include her daughters Rachel Tafoya, St. Johns, and Josephine (Lamado) Toquinto, St. Johns; brothers Bonifacio Ramierez and Manuel Ramierez; sisters Della Bazan and Rosie Morales, five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband Sabino L. Tafoya and son Charlie Tafoya.
A Rosary was recited for Patsy Friday, Sept 9 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. Johns. A funeral mass was held Saturday, Sept. 10 also at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment was at the St. Johns Eastside Catholic Cemetery.
Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary, St. Johns handled the arrangements
