Born in Webster S.D. Married Alice J. Hanson October 9, 1951 in Grant County, Milbank, South Dakota. Lived in S.D. till 1956. Moved to California, lived in Garden Grove, Orange county till 1965 worked for Continental Can CO. He bought a farm in Highland township, Day County S.D and farmed here till 1975. Moved to North Carolina and opened Foreign Auto Repair at 720 North Main St. in High Point, NC. Robert (Bob) operated the shop till his death from colon cancer. A loving father to 7 children and 10 grandchildren. He had a big heart and great sense of humor. He is missed by all. He would always help those who needed his help. He provided a few homeless people with food, shoes and a place to sleep.
