Alice was born in Eugene Oregon, the youngest of 9 children. She married Robert Schmitt on Oct. 9 1951 in Milbank, SD. They lived in Webster, SD, Garden Grove, Calif. and moved to North Carolina in 1975. Alice worked for Dakotah, Greensboro Manufacturing, American Greetings and had a craft shop in High Point NC called Craft Plaque Shack. She was a member of New Covenant Church in Archdale.
She is survived by 4 daughters and 3 sons. 1 brother and 1 sister. 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
