Bertha Hutchings Boyer of Bonne Terre was born October 29, 1900 in Valles Mines, the daughter of the late Richard Wills and Eliza Richardson Wills and died January 31, 1969 at the age of 68 years.
She is survived by her husband Homer Boyer and the following children: Frank Hutchings of Farmington, Paul Hutchings of Overland, Mary Carter of Phoenix, Arizona, Calvin Hutchings of Caledonia, Firmin Hutchings of St. Louis, Hattie Irvin of St. Louis; two brothers, Richard Wills and John wills both of Bonne Terre; also 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and August Wills and four sisters, Vickie Beattle, Elizabeth Frazer, Stella Forshee, and Hattie Wills.
Chapel services were conducted Monday at 3:00 p.m. at the Boyer Chapel with the Rev. E. E. Nicholson officiating. Interment was in St. Francois Memorial Park under the direction of Boyer Funeral Service.
