Lawrence F. "Red" Schaub, 84, of Adrian RD1, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 1996, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin. He was born Jan. 21, 1911 in East Franklin Township to Edwin and Nettie (Swigart) Schaub. Mr. Schaub was a retired coal miner and was retired from Adelson & Sons. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Croyle) Schaub; two daughters, June Dosch of Kittanning and Mrs. Joseph (Avanell) Langham of Stanford Conn; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Schaub of Adrian RD1 and Fred Schaub of Kittanning. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Jean Steim in 1988; six brothers, Clarence, Thomas, William, Louis, Theodore and Elmer Schaub; and a sister, Hazel Johnson. SCHAUB - Friends of Lawrence F. "Red" Schaub, who died Sunday, Jan. 7, 1996, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean Street, Kittanning, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Snyder of St. Luke's Reformed Church, officiating. Interment will be in Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning. Arrangements by Snyder-Crissman.
