Raymond V. Schaub, 81, of Adrian RD1 died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin Township. He was born Jan. 16, 1917 in East Franklin Township to Edwin and Nettie (Swigart) Schaub. Mr. Schaub was a retired construction worker. He was a member of the Labor Union 952, Kittanning for 35 years. He was a member of the Limestone Church of God and its Sunday school. He enjoyed gardening and mechanical work as his hobbies. He is survived by his wife, Mable (Croyle) Schaub, whom he married on November 4, 1938; two sons, James R. Schaub of Kittanning RD1 and David E. Schaub, of Adrian RD1; one daughter, Mrs. John A. (Connie) Wolfe of Adrian RD1; five grandchildren, Michael Wolfe, John Wolfe, Brian Schaub, Cassie Schaub and Kevin D. Schaub, and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant son, seven brothers, Clarence, Thomas, William, Lawrence, Elmer Lewis and Theodore Schaub; and one sister, Hazel Johnston. SCHAUB - Friends of Raymond V. Schaub, 81, of Adrian RD1, who died Feb. 14, 1998, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Inc., A Forethought Member, Cowansville, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev's. Kenneth Dugger, James Monticue and Chris Murphy, officiating. Interment will take place in the Croyle Cemetery, Adrian RD1. Arrangements by Snyder-Crissman.
