An Old Settler Gone
Henry Richards, an old settler of Buffalo county, died at his home in Odessa township early Monday morning, at an advanced age.
The funeral was held from his late residence at ten a.m. today. Services were conducted by Rev. Gill, pastor of the Evangelical church at Odessa, and the remains were interred in a cemetery in Riverdale township.
They were followed to the grave by a large number of friends. The deceased left an aged wife and seven sons to mourn his death. At his request, six of the sons acted as pall bearers.
