Kathryn E. (Halbrook) Hutcherson Larson

Funeral for Kathryn E. Larson was Monday in Grays River. She died Thursday in a Vancouver hospital at the age of 68.

Mrs. Larson was born in Memphis, Tenn. and had lived in Rosburg for the past 17 years. Previously, she had lived in Portland since 1940. Mrs. Larson was a homemaker. She was past president of the Rosburg Community Club and instrumental in establishing the Rosburg Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.

Surviving Mrs. Larson are her husband, Harvey L., of Rosburg; stepsons, Terry and Tracy, both of Rosburg; daughters, Gayanne Bicandi of Ridgefield and Judith K. Holteen of Vancouver; stepdaughter, Clair Stephan of Altoona; brother, Carl Halbrook of Vancouver; half-brother, Irvin Halbrook of Eugene, Ore.; sister, Louise Braim of Troutdale, Ore.; half-sisters, Patricia Whitehead of St. Louis and Suzanna Shelton of Portland; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Burial was in Skyline Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Portland.

The family suggests remembrances be contributions to either the Rosburg Community Club or the American Cancer Soceity.
