Born in Plant City on April 9, 1927, she was a lifelong resident of the area. She owned Colleen's Beauty shop in Auburndale for many years. She was a former member of the Auburndale Junior Women's Club. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Ron W. Johnson; son, Jim Mills, Baileyton, Ala.; daughter, Linda Mills Murphy, Ocala; sister, Gwen Hull, Daytona; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale. Services will follow at noon at the funeral home chapel.
