East Jordan – Funeral services for Glenn P. Bennett, 38, were held today (Monday) at the United Missionary Church. Rev. Dale Turner officiated and interment was in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Bennett died at his East Jordan home on Saturday.
He was born April 6, 1939 in East Jordan. In August, 1962 he married the former Jean Combest and the couple made their home in East Jordan.
Mr. Bennett was employed at the East Jordan Iron Works.
He was a member of the United Missionary Church.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Danny and one daughter, Glenda, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Bennett of East Jordan; a brother, David of Grand Rapids; a sister, Darlene of East Jordan; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Goldie Bennett, also of East Jordan.
