Mrs.Rotha Mae Bishop, 69, of Blaine, Ky., died Tuesday, June 16,1970 at her home after a long illness.

Funeral services were conducted a 2 p.m. Thursday from the Old Hood United Baptist Church at Blaine with the Rev. Jarrett Cordle officiating.
Burial was in the Sparks Cemetery there

Born Aug.5,1901 at Blaine, she was a daughter of the late John Eddie and Ethel Short Bowling.

Survivors include the husband, Henry C. Bishop; six daughters, Mrs.Raymond Kazee, Mrs. Jackson Cordle, Mrs Vernon, Kazee, Mrs.Myrtle,Brooks, and Mrs.Gladys Byers, all of Columbus, Ohio, and Mrs.Royce Mills of Center, Texas; four sons, John Bishop of Columbus, Jack and Elmer Bishop of Hilliards, O., and Junior Bishop of Londaon, Ohio;two brothers, Jack Bowling of Ashland, Ky., and Shade Bowling of Grayson, KY.;
19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Marvin Sparks & Old Hood Cemetery's are located in Lawrence County, Ky,Located behind the Hood United Baptist Church Route 201 South, In Lawrence County near the Johnson County line
