Doris Andrews King was born on November 15, 1906 in Nottingham, England and died on November 29, 1990 in West Kirby, England. She had a very keen mind and could remember things from her childhood that most children could care less about. I remember her saying how hard it was for her as a child growing up in a family without a father. He (William Andrews) was killed in France on September 26, 1918 during World War 1. Doris married Homer Robert King in Feb. 1945 in England and moved to the U.S.A. in June 1946.
