A.W. Wade's Rites Are Held Today
Mitchellsburg Farmer Died After Stroke
Funeral services were set for 2 o'clock this afternoon at Coyle funeral home, Perryville, for Addison Walden Wade, 82, active farmer of Mitchellsburg, who died at 4:20 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the home of his son, Garnett Wade, in Louisville.
Mr. Wade had earlier suffered a stroke and a fall in which he was injured on his own farm.
His wife, Mrs. Martha Lee McGinnis Wade, preceded him in death 12 years ago. Another son, Warren Wade, Detroit, Mich., and a sister, Mrs. Logan Webb, Mitchellsburg, survive.
The Rev. Richard Derby, pastor of Perryville Christian Church, conducted the funeral rites.
Burial was in Hillcrest cemetery.
