MARY LOUISE (MIMI) MIXON, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in Houston, Texas at the age of 92. She was born on June 19, 1917 in Aubrey, Texas to Lewis and Grace Tate. Louise is preceded in death by her husband William. She is survived by her daughters Mary "Nancy" MacPhee and husband Gary, Betty Sue Turner and husband John, sons William "Bill" Mixon and Robert Gene Mixon, grandchildren David MacPhee, Karen Turner-Smith, and Michelle Romero, three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild,, and special friends The Bobby Wirts, Charlie Glover, and June Hare. A visitation will begin on Friday, June 11, 2010 from 7-9:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E. Medical Center Blvd., Webster, Texas 77598. A funeral service will follow on Saturday at 10am at Crowder Funeral Home in Webster. Interment will be held at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas. In lieu of flowers, you may send memorials to Heart Ministries, PO Box 2068, Hutchinson, KS 67504. A special thank you to all of the care givers at Light Heart Memory Care and Lighthouse Hospice for their excellent care of Louise.
