Death Takes Anton Vavrusa
At the age of 62 years, 2 months, and 24 days, death took Anton Vavrusa on Thursday, Oct. 28, in the Dufner Hospital. The deceased was born in Czechoslovakia and came to this country in 1895. In September of 1911, he married Frances Bartos, and six children wee born to this happy union. Three sons: Adolph of Hallettsville, Joseph in the Army, and Anton Jr. in England; and three daughters, Mrs. Jos. (Marie) Filla; Mrs. Alvin (Annie) Vasek, both of here; and Mrs. Fred (Josephine) Strack of Louise. One sister, Mrs. Sophie Kocurek of here, and four grandchildren also survive him. Funeral services will be held at the Kubena Funeral Home Tuesday morning at 10:15 o'clock and at the Sacred Heart Church at 10:30.
