Phoebe Crabtree married Daniel Throckmorton Dec 1875. Children: Phoebe Emily, David Webster, Druzell Ethel, Mary Luetta, & Daniel Millard.

Mrs Phoebe Crabtree was born in Scioto Township, Jackson County, Ohio, August 8, 1854, and passed away at the home of her son, David Throckmorton, March 25, 1917, aged 62 years, seven months and 17 days. At about sixteen years of age she united with the Baptist church. Mrs Throckmorton was known as a good mother and a consecrated Christian woman.

While helping to care for her daughter-in-law who was suffering from an attack of pneumonia, she contracted the disease and passed away in a few days. In the year of 1876 [Dec 3, 1875], she was united in marriage to Daniel Throckmorton and in 1886 they moved to Kansas. To this union were born five children, two boys and three girls: David and Mildred, and Mrs Andrew Monroe, Mrs CE Neeland and Mrs CW Ayers, all of Troy [children were Phoebe, David, Ethel, Mary & Daniel]. Burial was in the Mosquito creek cemetery Monday afternoon, March 26th. TJ Sapp preached the funeral sermon.
