Willie had a stroke. She went to sleep and did not wake up.
She was 21 and Charley (Charles E Lander) was 21 at time of their marriage. He died at Missouri Pacific railway hospital in St. Louis MO. of appendicitis. She lived in Conway six years after the death of Charley. She remarried George Washington Shelton in 1912. After about a year they divorced . Mamma Mason said he was mean to her and her brother and even her Mom. She married John George Chapman in the Fall of 1915.
Survivors in Arkansas were sisters Mrs J D Gassaway of NLR, Mrs J A Hutto of LR, and Miss Frankie Davenport of Conway
