STUMPTOWN - Thelma "Peggy" Siers, 85, of Stumptown, Gilmer County, died June 14, 1998, at home after a long illness.
She was born in Rosedale, Braxton County, and was a member of Rush Run Baptist Church, near Stumptown.
Surviving: son, Harry Siers of Stumptown; daughters, Jean Siers and Sue Collins, both of Stumptown, Betty Miller and Tish Vannoy, both of Mineral Wells; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rush Run Baptist Church, near Stumptown, with the Rev. Lewis Villers officiating. Burial was in Collins - Community Cemetery, Stumptown. Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, was in charge of the arrangements.
