Pioneers Pass Away
Mrs. Olive Cullen
Mrs. Olive Cullen, one of the oldest residents of the town of Lyndon, died at her home at Onion River about six o'clock Tuesday morning. She was sick but a short time, having been up to breakfast the Sunday morning before her death.
Mrs. Cullen was ninety years of age on the 16th last August. She was born in the state of Massachusetts in 1804, and came West and settled in the town of Lyndon over forty years ago. Her husband has been dead twenty-two years. She is survived by one brother, Frank Wilkie, of Iowa, one sister, Mrs. M. Davis of Illinois, besides whom there are three children: Marvin Cullen of Aurora, Ill., and Ed. and F.J. Cullen both of the town of Lyndon.
The funeral is to be held from the house at ten o'clock this morning and the remains laid at rest in the Lyndon cemetery. The services are to be conducted by Rev. Wells of the Baptist church.
