Anna Carlton Hunt was called home to Jesus June 26, 2005.
Anna was a second generation Arizona native, mother of three children: daughters, Penny Howell (John) of Holbrook and Elaine of Phoenix and son Ed Jr. (Kay) of Phoenix and grandmother of five. Anna was raised in northern Arizona and California. She moved to Gila Bend in 1948 and became very active in the community and church and co-owned a Buick dealership with her husband, Ed Sr.
In 1970, Anna moved to Phoenix and worked for Motorola. Upon retirement she attended Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, then moved to Show Low, where she continued to work and be involved in her grandchildren lives and in Grace Lutheran Church.
The family requests in lieu of flowers please send donations to Odyssey Health Care or the Northern AZ American Cancer Society, in Anna's name.
Grave side services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, July 1 at Resthaven Cemetery, 6290 W. Northern Ave. in Glendale.
Menke Funeral Home in Sun City handled arrangements.
