Lydia A., wife of George W. Gibson, Suedberg, Schuylkill County, died early this morning at the home of a daughter, Mary A., 1100 Evergreen Road, Wyomissing Park, aged 81 years. She was a daughter of the late John and Susanna (Shuft) Young. Surviving are eight sons, Reuben, Edward, Samuel, Henry, William, Paul, James and Thomas; four daughters, Mary A., Helen, Emma and Elizabeth; 36 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Trumbo, Pottsville. Funeral services Thursday at 10 a. m., in the Henry Snyder funeral parlors at Pine Grove, the rev. W. D. Sheetz, officiating. Interment in Suedberg Cemetery at Pine Grove, in charge of Funeral Directors T. C. Auman, Inc. [Reading Eagle, August 5, 1940, Page 16]
