Lydia A., wife of George W. Gibson, Suedberg, Schuylkill County, died early this morning at the home of a daughter, Mary A., 1100 Evergreen Road, Wyomissing Park, aged 81 years. She was a daughter of the late John and Susanna (Shuft) Young. Surviving are eight sons, Reuben, Edward, Samuel, Henry, William, Paul, James and Thomas; four daughters, Mary A., Helen, Emma and Elizabeth; 36 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Trumbo, Pottsville. Funeral services Thursday at 10 a. m., in the Henry Snyder funeral parlors at Pine Grove, the rev. W. D. Sheetz, officiating.
