Moses Everidge was the son of Nicholas Everidge and Martha Smith. Moses was the grandson of Soloman Everidge and Elizabeth Turner. Soloman was responsible for getting the Hindman settlement school started. Moses married Emily Jones on April 9, 1890. They had 11 children together: Albia Ethel, Grover Cleveland, Cecil Commadore, Ina, Sampson, Carena, Virginia Sue (Jennie-Peg), Malvina, John Nicholas, Evelyn, Joseph David. I have found in many locations including Moses' death certificate that the dates of his death was 10-20-1933. I am assuming that the Feb. 2nd date was a mistake when the new grave marker was made. Moses died of tuberculosis.
