He is survived by his widow, Anna Smith Ratcliffe; four daughers, Mrs. Louise Kinzer, of Dubn, Mrs. Louis Wohlford, of Roanoke; Mrs. William Dent and Mrs. James J. Duncan, of Pulaski; one son, Eden G. Ratcliffe Jr., of Dublin; one sister, Mrs John T. Cecil and 11 grandchilren.
The deceased was a member of the Dublin Presbyterian church he was associated with the express company for 30 years operated a grocery store in Dublin for a number of years. He was also connected with the Hotel Fort Lewis at Salem.
