Funeral service for Mrs. Anna Smith Ratcliffe, 81, Dublin, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Dublin Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Manson B. Tate officiating. Burial will be in the Dublin Cemetery. Mrs. Ratcliffe died Tuesday morning in a Wytheville Hospital. Born in Pulaski County July 24, 1880, she was the daughter, of the late A.M. Smith and Louvenia Ellen Linkous. Mrs. Ratcliffe was preceded in death by her husband, Eden G. Ratcliffe. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. J.J. Duncan and Mrs. W.H. Dent, both of Pulaski; Mrs. Louise B. Kinzer, Dublin and Mrs. L.W. Wolhlford, Jr., Roanoke; three sisters, three brothers and 13 grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Lee Cecil, A.R. Keister, Kenneth Lawton, Durward Smith, Carl V. Smith and J. B. Brillheart Jr. The body will be removed from Stevens Funeral Home to the church one hour before the service.
