Daughter of the late Claude Franklin and Eddie Mae McBride Brown, she was the widow of Harvey Odell Holbrook. Additionally, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Fred Brown, Clyde Brown and Walter Brown. She was survived by one daughter, Susanne Reavis (Jimmie); one son, Larry Odell Holbrook (Glenda); one brother, Glenn Brown (Audrey), three grandchildren, Stacie Yount (Lucas), Jason Reavis (Lorie) and Emily Holbrook; four great-grandchildren, Payton Alder, Justin Reavis, Hailey James and Brady James; and an extended family of relatives and friends. She was a former postmaster at the Traphill Post Office. She was a life-long member of Old Roaring River Baptist Church where her funeral was held on June 14, 2009, with The Rev. Jim Rhoades and The Rev. Bobby Trott officiating.
