Funeral services for Ben F. Snorgrass,
father of Deputy Sheriff L. A. (Chick)
Snorgrass, who died at his home in Tipton
Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services at
the grave was under the auspices of the
Masonic Lodge of which he was a member
for many years.
Mr. Snorgrass, who was 72 years of age,
was born in the Tipton vicinity and lived
there nearly all his life. He was in business
there for 40 years and at the time of his
death conducted a grocery store.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sallie
Snorgrass, one son, L. A. and a daughter,
Mrs. Clyde Humphrey of Jefferson City.
Mr. Snorgrass was widely known in this
section and his passing has occasioned
deep and sincere regret.
