Mary Louise Cutright, 84, of Casey, IL passed away at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Rev. Dana Zartman officiating. Burial will follow in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home.
Mary was born March 9, 1925 in Montrose, Illinois the daughter of Clyde Cleveland Plummer and Lizzie Carrico Plummer. She married John Lee Cutright on November 7, 1942 in St. Charles, Missouri. He passed away on August 23, 2009.
Survivors include one son, Jerry (wife Carole) of Casey, IL; two daughters, Sandra Simpson and Sharon (husband John) Richardson both of Charleston, IL; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Brewer of Effingham, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Ruth Hardy and Wanda Just; brothers, Olaf Plummer and Darrell Plummer; one granddaughter, Susan Marie Cutright and one son-in-law, David Simpson.
Mary was a homemaker and retired as a cook from Monroe Elementary School in Casey. She had previously waitressed at the White Barn Tea Room in Casey and Tom's Café in Marshall. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Casey, IL.
