Ross A. Dillon, 87, of Sandyville, died June 9, 1993, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg. He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Abner and Mary Jane Dillon. He was retired from Columbia Gas, having been employed 26 years, and was a Jackson County farmer. Surviving are one son, Ross Dillon, Jr. of Williamstown; one brother, Harvey Elam Dillon of Sandyville; one sister, Bessie Burch of Steubenville, Ohio; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Dillon; several brothers; several sisters; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held Friday at Vail Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Morrison officiating. Burial was in Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.
