Jacob Pavcic, 75, of 523 Ash St., died Sunday, Mar. 10, 1963, in Washington Hospital, after an illness of two years.

Mr. Pavcic was born Jul. 10, 1887. He had resided in the Canonsburg area for the past 50 years and was a former miner.

He was secretary of SNPJ Lodge 83, Strabane, for a number of years before retiring from that position. He was also a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 127, Canonsburg, and United Mine Workers of America Local, Muse. Mr. Pavcic was a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are his wife, Minnie Napotnik Pavcic; one son, William, Canonsburg; two daughters, Mildred, wife of William Hollister, Glenn Dale, Md., and Bertha, wife of Steve Morris, Canonsburg; and eight grandchildren.
