Born on Aril 25, 1925 in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Preston and Lucy Esther West Hamilton. Mrs. Blan was the widow of William Earl Blan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Smithfield Primitive Baptist Church on Front St. with Elder Tony Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Heights Cemetery.
Surviving are: sons, Stephen Earl Blan and wife, Vickie, David Allan Blan; daughters, Janice Riser, Esther Bishop; sister, Pearl Hines; grandchildren, Teena Brown, April Blan, Kenneth Blan, Michael Blan; great grandchildren, Kristeena Suarez, Kayla Blan, Crista Mae Blan.
Mrs. Blan was preceded in death by five brothers, Hunter, Al, Dixon, Bobby, and Chester Hamilton, by one sister, Esther Mae Owens, and by one grandchild, Daniel A. Blan.
