Miss Pauline McKeighan, 84, formerly of Toulon, died Friday, April 28, 1972, at 2:30 p.m., at the Apostolic Christian Nursing Home, Peoria. She was born in Toulon, December 3, 1887, the daughter of Sylvester and Effie Lyon McKeighan. She attended Knox College and was a graduate of the University of Chicago where she received a Masters' Degree. For 35 years she owned her own medical laboratory on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. Surviving is a cousin, Miss Henrietta Silliman of Toulon. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Laura McKeighan and Faye McKeighan. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Kidd Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Rottier, pastor of Toulon Congregational church, officiating. Mrs. Kenneth Blakey was organist and pallbearers were Robert J. Silliman, John D. Rennick, Robert Rennick, David Nemeyer, Steven Ament, and Mark Norris. Interment was in the family lot in the Toulon Cemetery.
