Born June 13, 1949, in Cooperstown, she was the daughter of Lucy I. Burk Lepley, who survives, and the late William E. Lepley Sr.
She had been employed at Polk Center as a resident staff aide before her retirement in 1989.
Laura was a member of Donation Hill Community Bible Church.
She enjoyed drawing, painting, gardening and, most of all, spending time with her family.
She was married on April 27, 1985, to Alfred D. Boyles, who survives.
In addition to her husband and her mother, Laura is survived by two daughters, Jolene Boyles-Neff of Meadville and Erin E. Surmaceviz and her husband, Justin A., of Hanoverton, Ohio; and a grandson, Benjamin W. Mook of Meadville.
She also is survived by two sisters, Lois A. Lepley and Lucy A. Greenlee and her husband, Mike, all of Cochranton; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and grand nephews.
In addition to her father, Laura was preceded in death by a brother, William E. Lepley Jr.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Dale Adams, pastor of Donation Hill Community Bible Church, presiding.
Interment will follow at Peters Cemetery.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Donation Hill Community Bible Church.
