Mrs. Della Lighthill

Mrs. Della Lighthill, 76, Litchfield, died December 20, at the Loup City hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church with Rev. James Ward and Rev. Alfred Wakefield officiating. Music was furnished by Mesdames Paul Givens and B. B. Grice and Ross Douglas and Paul Chipps. Interment was in the Litchfield cemetery.
Della McConnell was born in Jackson county, Iowa, August 19, 1879, and died in Loup City, Nebr., December 20, 1946, aged 76.
She was united in marriage to Samuel Elis Lighthill at Grand River, Iowa, August 19, 1888. To this union was [sic] born four daughters and five sons. Her husband, two daughters and one son preceded her in death.
Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Herman of Springview, Nebr.; Mamie Guidinger, of Pocatello, Idaho; Clyde of Crookston, Nebr.; Guy of Cheyenne, Wyo., Ona Tichenor and Hal Lighthill of Litchfield; also a brother, John McConnell of Gladstone, No. Dak.; 26 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
