Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Methodist Church with the Rev. Bob Ely, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery by Murphy Funeral Home.
Born in Hunt County, Mrs. Barker moved to Donley County in 1907 and to Clarendon in 1955. She was a member of the First Methodist Church and the WSCS Good Neighbors Club.
Surviving are her husband, Carl; six daughters, Mrs. Viola Graham and Mrs. Nova Nooring of Clarendon, Mrs. Vera Noble and Mrs. Mamie Clark of Lubbock, Mrs. Mildred Tomlinson of Phillips and Mrs. Mary Lou Hopkins of Big Spring; two sons, Barl [sic] of Groom and Don of 4711 Princeton in Amarillo, five sisters, Mrs. Stella Goode and Miss Ivy Dea Hinkle of Clarendon, Mrs. Oma Watson of McLean, Mrs. Ethyle Reid of Goodnight and Miss Amy Hinkle of Muncie, Ind.; five brothers, Marvin Hinkle of Portland, Ore., R.B. and Jim of Tahoka, Raymond of Hobbs, N.M., and Orville of Tucson, Ariz., 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
