ROSA L. CLARY, 84

Rosa L. Clary, 84, Adams, died at 12:05 a.m. Sunday in the Major Hospital in Shelbyville, having been seriously ill for several weeks.

Mrs. Cary was born July 5, 1900, in Lewis County, Ky., the daughter of Sam and Emma Meadows Botkin. She was married to Frank Clary Dec. 23, 1920, in Nashville, Ky., and he preceded her in death Feb. 19, 1976. She had resided in Adams for 30 years, and was a member of the Adams Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Raymond Clary, R.R.5, Shelbyville; three sisters: Mrs. Donald (Agnes) Redelman, Greensburg, Mrs. Elizabeth Hilander, Lewis County, Ky., and Mrs. Millie Adams, Vanceburg, Ky.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and 14 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

The services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, with the Rev. George Graves officiating, and with burial in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Friends may call today from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
