Paula C. Banda of Lubbock departed this life on Friday, June 11, 2004, in Lubbock at the age of 60 years.

She was born on Jan. 15, 1944, in Waelder, Texas, to the late Ricardo and Pilar Montoya Cedillo. Mrs. Banda lived in Lubbock most of her life. She married Manuel Banda on Feb. 17, 1962, in Waelder. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

Those left to mourn her passing include her husband, Manuel A. Banda; three sons, Alex, Rudy and Manuel C. Banda Jr.; three daughters, Marie Baca, Irene Ramirez and Angielee Banda; six brothers, five sisters; and eight grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one brother, Joe Cedillo.

Rosary will be recited on Sunday, June 13, at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Services will be held on Monday, June 14, at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Msgr. Curtis Halfman officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow. Arrangements are under the persona l care of White Funeral Home of Lubbock.
