Mr. Baumgartner was born April 23, 1909, near Barnesville, Minn. He grew up near Rothsay.
He married Florence Hawley on Oct. 8, 1930, in Breckenridge. They lived near Barnesville for a short time and then farmed near Rothsay. She died in 1985.
Visitation: Tuesday from 5-7, with a prayer service at 7, in Grina Funeral Home, Rothsay, and one hour before the funeral in the church.
Funeral: Wednesday at 2 in Hamar Lutheran Church, Rothsay.
Burial: Hamar Lutheran Cemetery, Rothsay.
