MRS. GUY WALKER DIES NEAR BETHLEHEM
Mrs. Guy Walker, of the Bethlehem neighborhood west of Clarence, died at her home Saturday morning at 10:00 o'clock. Altho she had been in poor health for some time, her death came as a sudden shock to her many friends.
She was 36 years of age at the time of her death, having been born at Beaconsfield, Iowa, Oct. 6th, 1893. She was united in marriage in Jan. 1909 to Guy H. Walker and one son, Richard Dale, was born to them.
She leaves beside the son and husband, a mother, Mrs. Rebecca McConnell of Beaconsfield, Iowa, two sisters, Mrs. Opal Sparks, of Washington, Mrs. Alta Stults of Macon, brothers, Ralph of Cherokee, Iowa, John of Beaconfield, Iowa, Dale of Murray, Iowa, Hale of Oceola, Iowa, Hoyle of Yanwert, Iowa, Jay, of Ellston, Iowa, and Guy of Buffalo, Wyo.
Funeral services were held at two o'clock Monday afternoon at Bethlehem church.

Mary Stella Walker.
Mrs. Mary Stella Walker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George McConnel, was born at Beaconfield, Iowa, Oct. 6, 1893, and died December 21, 1929, at the age of 36 years, 2 months and 15 days.
She was united in marriage in January, 1909, to Guy H. Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Walker. To this union was born one son, Dale now at home.
She united with the Christian church at Fairview several years ago und remained an active and faithful member until the end.
To know Stella was to love her, such sweet and sympathetic ways, one who readily made friends wherever she went. She will ever be remembered by her friends for her charitable deeds and many acts of kindness.
She was one of thirteen children, six girls and seven boys, three sisters having preceded her, namely Olive, Beatrice and Mrs. Maud Baumann. She leaves beside her husband, one son, her mother, Mrs. Rebecca McConnell of Beaconsville, Iowa, and two sisters, Mrs. Opal Sparks of Ephrata, Washington; Mrs. Alta Stults, Macon, Mo.; Ralph of Cherokee, Iowa; John of Beaconsfield, Iowa; Dale of Murry, Iowa, Hale of Osceola, Iowa; Hoyle of Van Wert, Iowa; Jap of Ellston, Iowa; Buy of Buffalo, Wyoming. All were present except one sister, Mrs. Geo. Sparks. She leaves 21 nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends who mourn her death.
