She was born August 15, 1909 in Provo, Utah to Wilmer J. and Mary Gatherum Burgess. Married Peter William Clerico, May 15, 1937 in Provo, Utah. Later Divorced. He died July 6, 1983. Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held various callings. Former member of Business Professional Women. Rye loved crocheting, sewing and she took up painting later in life and enjoyed it very much.
She will be dearly missed by her family.
Survived by: daughter and spouse, Janet and Tom Patterick, Price; grandchildren, Paige and Cameon Patterick, Price; Micah and Shea Bradshaw, Harrisville; Elder Jaren Patterick, serving in the Netherlands, Amsterdam mission; great-grand-children, Ashlin Patterick, Kjirstin Patterick, both of Price; Cameron Bradshaw, Harrisville; brother, Thomas A. and Esther Burgess, Price; sister-in-law, Screlda J. Clerico, Price.
Preceded in death by sister Hildred Mason; brothers William Burgess and James Burgess.
Funeral Service Saturday, October 27, 2001, 11 a.m., Price Fifth LDS Ward Chapel. Family will be at the church one hour prior to services. Friends are welcome at Mitchell's daily from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Interment Price City Cemetery.
