age 71, a resident of Grovertown and formerly of Lake Station passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010. He was born in Illinois the son of Finley and Sarah Duffee. Finley moved to Lake Station and worked as a crane operator for U.S. Steel. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose - Lodge 1900 in Portage, he enjoyed gardening, and being with his dogs Maxi and Skippy.
Finley is survived by his loving family; daughter Shirley (Greg) Hennings, Valparaiso, and Sheryl (Walter) Poturalski, Hobart, grandchildren Shane Hennings, Shannon, Hennings, Shawna Calvert, Simon Aguilera, Brandon Aguilera, Walter Poturalski, Jr. and Craig Poturalski, 13 great-grandchildren, sister Rosetta (Jim) Fields, and Mildred Duvall, and other loving family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Ronald Duffee, and 12 brothers and sisters.
A visitation for Finley Duffee will be held from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Rees Funeral Home – Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
