Margaret V. Smith

Services for Margaret V. Smith, 75, of Hampden Township, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Church of God, 28 E. Main St., Mechanicsburg.

She died Wednesday in Holy Spirit Hospital.

Born July 5, 1915, in Mechanicsburg, she was a daughter of the late Irvin Wilson and Sarah Eva Biddle Adams.

She was a member of First Church of God, Mechanicsburg, for 62 years, and a former member of the WCSC of the church. She was a nursery attendant for Monday Night Bible School.

Surviving are her husband, Raymond C Smith; two sons, Robert E. and Raymond C. Jr., both of Mechanicsburg; two brothers, William B. and Elmer N. Adams, both of Mechanicsburg; three sisters, Sara Mae Fought of Middlesex Township, Mary Jane Sheipe of York Springs and Viola M. Adams of Mechanicsburg; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Saturday in the church chapel.

The Rev. Robert H. Stone, her pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.

Myers Funeral Home, 37 E. Main St., Mechanicsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
