East Lake Shore--Mrs. Mae E. Sharples, 78, died at a Polson hospital Wednesday after a long illness.
Mrs. Sharples was born at Hartford, Michigan, Mar. 24, 1878, and was married to James M. Sharples at Trinidad, Colorado, in 1906. They moved to Spokane, Washington, in 1914, where Mr. Sharples preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 1937. Since 1938 she had made her home at Polson with her daughter, Mrs. Eldora McConnell of East Lake Shore.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. McConnell and Miss Nancy Sharples of East Lake Shore; one son James M. of Chino, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Annette Powell of Birmingham, Alabama, and Mrs. Eva Booty of Miami, Florida; and one brother Edmund Abel of Lakewood, Ohio.
Funeral services at the Catholic Church in Polson. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Polson
