According to the "Oil City Derrick" of June 20,1881, the family removed at that date from the lovely small town of Emlenton, Venango, Pennsylvania to the adjacent quaint village of Foxburg, where the younger siblings were subsequently born. Young Nellie died from some kind of bowel problem/disease before the age of seven and is interred in a common grave site location with her parents and oldest brother, Loyd (Lloyd) in the Foxburg Memorial Episcopal Church Cemetery. Her first name is on the ABEL family obelisk. It is unknown as to the malady that took her life; however, interestingly, a male descendant of her youngest brother, Edmund, was afflicted with Hershprung's bowel disease, an obstruction of the large intestine caused by inadequate motility and "Chromosome #2 Deletion".
